Polymernanoscience is the study and application of nanoscience topolymer-nanoparticle matricescalled Polymer nanocomposites (PNC) consist ofa polymer or copolymer having nanoparticles ornanofillers dispersed in the polymer matrix. This varies with different shapes(e.g., platelets, fibres, spheroids), but at least one dimension must be in therange of 1–50 nm. It requires controlled mixing/compounding andstabilization of the dispersion phase.
