Professor Dimitris Drikakis is the Vice President of Global Partnerships at the University of Nicosia (November 2018). Prior to that, he was Executive Dean (Engineering) and Executive Director of Global Partnerships at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow; Head of the Institute of Aerospace Sciences at Cranfield University; Professor at the Queen Mary University of London, as well as held academic appointments at the University of Manchester, and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. Prof. Drikakis expertise is in fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and nanotechnology (fluid/material interface). He is active in both fundamental and applied research, including technology transfer to industry and research establishments.
