Nanobiotechnology is an emerging field which is a combined stream of biotechnology and nanotechnology. It is a discipline in which tools from nanotechnology are developed and applied to study biological phenomena. For example, nanoparticles can serve as probes, sensors or vehicles for biomolecule delivery in cellular system, peptoid, nanosheets, cantilever array sensors and the application of nanophotonics for manipulating molecular processes in living cells.
